Is Silence Really Golden?

The winds movement stirs up the dry autumn leaves on the trees to cause a low rise and fall of a hissing sound. Light shifts from room to room and darkness comes once more...Silence once again.

You cannot speak because you have been stricken with a cold that has given you laryngitis and only whispers escape in a breath. You want to shout out to all the beauty of the Fall but the hissing of the leaves are louder than your words can faintly declare. Waves descend once more into silence...Sleep...You are tired and sick. Let the winds lure you back to slumber.
